Q: Do I need to complete all lessons within a certain time?

A: You can take as long as you Will with the course materials. You can access the material indefinitely after you purchase the course.

Q: Do I need previous experience?

A: No previous experience is needed. We assume you only have a desire to learn and to begin practicing Aleister Crowley's Star Ruby ritual.

Q: Will I be a super advanced Magician if I complete this course?

A: This course is intended to teach the basics of the Star Ruby ritual. The Star Ruby represents one piece of a Thelemic magician's ritual magick practice. It is generally considered a banishing ritual which is only one tool among many in the Magician's arsenal.

Q: Is this based on A.'.A.'. or Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO)?

A: NO. Although many of the practices draw on the tradition of A.'.A.'. as expounded by Crowley in his journal The Equinox, this course is not formally based on the A.'.A.'. or OTO. Completing this course confers no benefits or rights within any A.'.A.'. or the OTO. Having "degrees" or standing in any organization such as A.'.A.'. or OTO confers no benefit in these courses. It is absolutely not necessary to be part of a Thelemic organization to complete this course (or to be a Thelemite!)

Q: Are there initiation ceremonies? 

A: NO. There are no physical or virtual initiation ceremonies as this is a course of self-study. The only real initiation comes from your own hard work and this course intends to give a framework to help you get started on your Path.

Q: Do I need to be a Thelemite?

A: NO. You do not need to be anything other than interested in learning about the Star Ruby ritual.
